Education Opens the Door to Success

Education Opens the Door to Success

I was baptized when I was 10 years old. Over the years, I have served in various callings in the Church and have been building my testimony every day. I am married to a returned missionary. We were sealed in the temple in September 2003, and we now have three little boys.

During my fourth year of college, we did our budget and realized that it would be necessary to take out a loan for me to finish my studies. I was working as an employment specialist and was familiar with the PEF program, so I applied for and received a PEF loan.

It was not easy to study and work as a mother. I did it because I trust that education opens the door to success. I really believe that this program is inspired by God and that it is a way we can help people gain financial independence. I really know that God provides a way and takes care of our needs if we are willing to do our part.

I feel so happy when I pay back the loan because it will help other faithful members who are in need.

I am currently working as an English teacher. I have been working in different schools and companies that really appreciate my work because I do it with love. My life is improving day by day.

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the one true church in the world. I love my Savior with all my heart. The gospel is the most important blessing I have in my life. My Heavenly Father is my best friend. I know that He loves us with all His heart and that He provides a way to make us happy. We just need to take advantage of all the opportunities we have and keep putting God first in our lives.
