World’s Largest Virtual #Hallelujah Chorus (Video)

Singers, choirs and fans all over the world uploaded a recording of themselves singing one of four parts (soprano, alto, tenor or bass) of the well-known “Hallelujah” chorus from George Frederic Handel’s “Messiah.” The choir received 2,500 video submissions from students, celebrities, politicians and vocalists from all over the world.

The choir will stream “Messiah” live on Good Friday, March 25, at 7:30 pm Mountain Daylight Time from a performance in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Visit motab.org/messiah for details. The concert will be broadcast on the Church satellite system and other media in English. If you aren’t able to watch the live performance or live stream, the concert will be available for viewing from www.mormontabernaclechoir.org and their YouTube channel through April 4, 2016.
